The Street Fight
Where did the Gunfight at the O. K. Corral take place?
Hollywood, California.
The famous Tombstone gunfight began in an 18-foot wide vacant lot on Fremont street near Third, about a block north of the corral's entrance on Allen street. The lot, known as Lot 2, Block 17, ran between Fly's boarding house and the Harwood house. The fight carried into Fremont street as the shooting progressed. It became known as the "Gunfight at the O. K. Corral" largely from the movie of that name . Wyatt always referred to it as simply "the street fight."
